The Annual Orchid Show entitled "The Romance of Orchid" organized by the Deep Cut Orchid Society took
place this year from February 5 to 8, 2009 in the large green house of Dearborn Farm Market at the corner of
Highway 35 and Centerville Road in Holmdel, New Jersey. We thank May Lee for notifying us about this Orchid
Show. Several members, including me, of the Young at Hear Club and the 40-Plus Club went to enjoy this
Orchid Show on Friday, February 6. It was a very popular event for people to enjoy many beautiful flowers
such that the regular parking lot was full when I arrived. Many of us had to park our cars in the additional
parking area in the back of the Dearborn Farm Market. Many visitors brought their cameras, large and small,
and were all very busy clicking on so many wonderful flowers. The sample photos that I took are presented on
this web page.
