Scenic Highway 93 in Southern Nevada
And Western Arizona
On Sunday, November 5, 2006, after driving east on the scenic Highway 68 from Laughlin in Nevada to
Kingman in Arizona, we then turn northwest to drive on scenic Highway 93 from Kingman to Hoover Dam, then
to Las Vegas. The mountains along Highway 93 are also beautiful and impressive. The mountains on the west
side of Highway 93 toward Colorado River are black mountains whereas the mountains on the east side of
Highway 93 are white mountains as shown in the following two pictures for the black-and-white contrast.
