Zoom in for closer views of these red rocks. These three close up pictures were taken in the afternoon of
November 7, 2006.
The views along 13-mile one way Scenic Drive are spectacular. Majestic mountains on the north side and west
side of Red Rock Canyon are also very impressive.
Magnificent views from High Point Overlook on the Scenic Drive of Red Rock Canyon. A great place to spend
time away from hustle & bustle of the Vegas strip. It is awesome.
After we finished touring the Red Rock Canyon in the morning, we drove east 6 miles to enjoy a nice buffet
lunch at the nearby Red Rock Casino Resort located at: 11011 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, Phone:
(702) 797-7777. Red Rock Casino Resort is about 6 miles east near the junction of Charleston Blvd (Hwy

This picture of Red Rock was taken by May Lee. Notice that at the base of the Red Rock wall, there are three
"tiny" people: One person is taking picture of another person in the shadow and the third person is walking up
towards the first person. The tiny size of the three people in this picture as a reference reminds us of the
immense sizes of the Red Rock formations in all the pictures above.
In this picture, May Lee zoomed in so that the three people at the base of the Red Rock formations become
larger and more visible. Again, they remind us of the immense size of these Red Rock formations in all those
pictures above.
